Katherine Miller

Katherine Miller died Feb. 9, 2008, in Loveland. She was 93 years old. Katherine was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Evans. She was raised in Windsor, where she married Emmanuel Jekel and had three children. Emmanuel preceded her in death. She later married Elmer Miller. He also preceded her in death. Katherine was an excellent cook and well known for her crocheting, quilting, and her still naturally dark hair. She is survived by her son, Tom Jekel and his wife Juanita of Loveland; a daughter, Judy Martin and her husband, Hank of Loveland; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmie; and a daughter, Donna Homolka. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor.
