On February 14, 1988, Kathy married Michael Ferris her amazing and outstanding husband the one that would love and care for her until she took her last breath.

Kathy was well known for her incredible love for all of God’s creations with a special fondness for dogs and birds. She had many pets over her lifetime, she loved and remembered every one of them. Her house also had many other unique pets, baby alligators, piglets, goats, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils. She loved to feed the squirrels and birds in her yard.

Kathy was very creative and could invent a game out of anything all she ever needed was a pencil, paper, a cardboard box and a pair of dice. She was the one that made up the rules and invariably won the game. It’s important to note that she was also crowned our family coloring champion of the universe.

She had a generous kind soul, was an advocate for the needy and less fortunate and would give her last dollar to anyone in need.

Her family was the most important part of her life she loved to visit with her children and grandkids. She also loved coffee and cloudy rainy days.

Most important of all Kathy was a devoted servant of our Sovereign God Jehovah. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the mid 1960’s and spent decades alongside her husband Mike proclaiming the good news of God’s Kingdom.

One of her favorite songs “just see yourself when all is new” says in part Just see yourself just see me too just see us all in a world that is new. Think how you’ll feel to live in peace to be truly free. Look ahead to a world that is new, all has come true just as he said. He now will awake those sleeping in death their voice will join us with every grateful breath.

To listen to this beautiful song, go to JW.ORG and search for song 139.

Kathy was well aware of the hope of the resurrection promised by Jehovah, and it gave her great peace in her last days. 1st Corinthians 15:26 “states” And the last enemy death will be brought to nothing.

To our Sovereign God Jehovah the keeper of her memory, all glory, honor and praise to you belong. Amen
