Juan L. Barraza

Juan L. Barraza, Sr., 63, of Fort Collins, died July 8, 2009 at home. Mr. Barraza was born on March 30, 1946 in Crystal City, TX to Ebaristo Barraza and Petra Barraza. Juan married Mary L. Parraz on August 22, 1968 in Fort Collins, CO. Mr. Barraza worked in Maintenance at CSU. Juan loved gardening, watching sports and reading. Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Parraz; sons, Juan Barraza, Jr., wife Teresa Ramirez and Guadalupe Barraza; daughter, Jennifer Barraza of Ft. Collins, brothers, Henry Barraza, and Juan Manuel Barraza both of Ft. Collins; sisters, Dominga Barraza of Ft. Collins, Elsa Laureles of LaPorte, and Juanita Wray of Greeley, step sisters Maria Luna and Maria Ignacia Avalos both of Ft. Collins and Grandchildren, Andrea Barraza of Denver, Alexandria, Katley, Jared, Marcus and Vincent Deteso all of Ft. Collins. Step-grandchildren Martin, Crystal and Nina Ramirez all of Ft. Collins., Also one great grandchild. Preceding Juan in death is his Sister, Stephanie Guarenos. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday at 7:00 pm at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
