Joshua Amerman

Josh Amerman, 34, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away September 3. 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. His fight with brain cancer started 5 years ago. He was born in Breckenridge, MN to Bill and Roz Amerman on September 16, 1982. Josh was joined by his sister, Ashley, in 1987. Josh and Ashley were best friend forever. He graduated from Sargent Central High School in Forman, ND. He earned a Computer Information Systems degree from NDSCS and then married Amber Kaleva in Fargo, ND in 2004. He worked at Integrity Computer Systems, Wahpeton, ND, until they moved to Fort Collins, CO where he worked as a realtor for 8 years, first with Keller Williams and then Remax Alliance. After conquering his first brain tumor, he went back and earned a Paralegal degree from FRCC and was working at Hill and Hill LLC. Josh lived on the golf course and also enjoyed camping, skiing, reading, movies, concerts, and laughing with friends/family. All who knew him are mourning the loss of a kind, patient, generous, lighthearted friend who was always quick to laugh and slow to anger. The highlights of Josh's life were being married to his soul mate, Amber; golfing Pebble Beach with his father, Bill; dancing at a Guns and Roses concert, performing the wedding ceremony of Ashley and Brett; and playing with his pug dogs, Padre Pete and Dakota. Josh loved music and could sing any song on the radio and was learning the guitar. There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. on September 7, 2017 at Timberline Church, 2901 S. Timberline Rd. in Fort Collins, CO. There will also be a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2017 at The Golf Course in Forman, ND.
