Joseph E. Fitch

Joseph "Joe" E. Fitch, brother, dad and grandfather went home to be with the Lord in his home on February 9, 2011. He was 58. Joseph was born in Leon, Iowa, April 24, 1952 to Edwin and Phyllis Moren Fitch. Joseph was a cowboy and most of his work was in construction and ranch work. He served in the Army from 1974 to 1977. He enjoyed working on vehicles and riding horses. Joseph is survived by his fiance, Connie Leiphart; seven children, Joe M. Tracy Sandy of Nevada, Amanda J. Bolton and her fiancé Mark Scheere of Eaton, Colorado, Joseph A. Lindsey Fitch of Thornton, Colorado, Nicholas D. Fitch and Britteny Morgan of Fort Collins, Justin L. ElizabethFitch of Eaton, Dusty L. Fitch and his fiancé Tiffany Richardson of Nunn, Colorado and Matthew T. Fitch of Nunn; a sister, Charlotte Miller and niece Trinity Miller of Fort Collins; brother, Harley E. Rhonda Fitch; eleven grandkids and several nieces and nephews. Joseph is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis M. Moren Fitch, his father, Edwin "Bud" E. Fitch, and a brother Donald P. Fitch. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Wellington Community Church, 8445 3rd St. Wellington. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice for their care of Joseph in his last days.
