Jose Gonzalez, 62, of Fort Collins, died Oct. 31, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Gonzalez was born May 8, 1946 in Mexico, to Jose Gonzales and Luisa Cruces Gonzalez, in the town of Dolores, Hidalgo Guanojato. He immigrated to the United States as a young teenager and lived out the rest of his life in the U.S. Jose became a citizen in 1984. His dream was to come to the U.S. and begin his family which he did and to own his house which he also accomplished. The last ten years he worked as a lead custodian at the Poudre R-1 School District. Jose enjoyed, fishing, hunting, and he also greatly enjoyed playing poker with his buddies. Jose was a great father and an amazing grandfather. Jose will always be missed, loved, and remembered. He will live forever in our hearts. Survivors include his wife, Veronica Sue Gonzalez, a son, Jose Vincent Gonzalez, two daughters, Angela Lewis and her husband, John Lewis, and Vanessa Martinez and her husband, Moonshadow Martinez; his brothers and sisters, Loreto Carillio, Mario Gonzalez, Vicenta Gonzalez, Eudosia Lopez, Elodia Soto, Jesus Gonzalez, Hilario Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, and Paciano Gonzalez; and three grandchildren, Jada, Johnny, and Jaiden Lewis. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Robert L.
