Jon Derek Trujillo

Jon Derek Trujillo was born on April 9, 1962 in Denver Colorado to Joan Elizabeth Carver and Ricardo Trujillo. Jon passed away Saturday March 6 at the home of his sister Tracey Trujillo in Loveland Colorado. He passed peacefully with his sisters Juanita and Tracey at his side. He is preceded in death by his father Ricardo Trujillo. He is survived by his mother Joan, sisters Tracey Trujillo, Juanita Schmidt and Katheryn Lennon.

Jon spent the majority of his adult life in Las Vegas Nevada with a career as a Limousine Driver. Jon's friends describe him as an intensely loyal and generous friend. Some of his hobbies included Anime, computer gaming, movies, reading, collecting dragons and cooking. His favorite holiday was Halloween. He loved the costumes and elaborate decorations. He was a devoted son who acted as caregiver for his ailing mother for many years.

Jon was a gentle giant with a huge generous heart and he will be greatly missed by friends, colleagues and his family for years to come. His light is extinguished but he will live on in our hearts forever.

Jon's wish was not to have a funeral. He wanted family and friends to instead join together for a celebration of life.
