John (Johnny) Ramon Morales Castaneda
John Morales Castaneda, age 49, passed away at home on the morning of September 8, 2025. He was born August 19, 1976 in Fort Collins, CO. John was a gift of life to Celia Castaneda and was a gift of love to the late Rodolfo and Leandra Castaneda.
Johnny, as he was affectionately known, was the oldest of three children. He spent his school years in San Angelo, Texas and graduated from Central High School. Johnny welcomed a daughter, Selena, in 1994 and another daughter, Jilenna in 2010.
Johnny worked at ABC Supply Co. for the past 16 years where his coworkers became like family. John loved his family fiercely. He had a gift of making others feel welcomed and always lent a hand to those in need. Johnny's laughter filled the room and brought comfort to those around him. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, always joking and brightening everyone's day. John was a loving, caring, hard working person who adored God, the Dallas Cowboys, lowriders, working on classic cars, music and fishing.
John is preceded in death by parents, Rodolfo and Leandra Castaneda; brother Freddy Castaneda; sister Dina Munoz. Johnny is survived by his mother Celia Castaneda; daughter Selena Rivero (Joaquin) and granddaughter, Naomi; daughter Jilenna Trujillo Castaneda; brothers Rudy Castaneda (Mary) and Eddie Castaneda (Susy); sister Maria Chavira (Jorge); brother Miguel Banuelos (Cindy); nieces, Monica Maxwell (Wade), Andrea Chavira (Ben), Chelsie Chavira (Adam), Nayeli Pinon (Irving) and Piper Banuelos; nephews, Adan Chavira, Salem Banuelos, Govanni Chavira; great nephews, Izaac Lozano, Tristen Maxwell, Jameson Maxwell, Axel Chavira and Adriel Pinon; great niece, Celestine Medina and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services provided by Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive Street, Fort Collins, CO.
