John Gladyn Mathe

Family and friends are sad to announce the passing of John G. Mathe on February 12, 2023 at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado at the age of 68. He had battled complication of a stroke some several years prior until his recent untimely death. As a young man, John proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saratoga ultimately receiving an honorable discharge. John was employed for many years at Poudre Valley Health, Fort Collins, Colorado, first in the facility services department, then later as software programs which are still in use today. He also founded a software development company, S Cubed, which contracted with several local businesses. John is survived by his siblings, brother Larry Mathe; sisters, Susan Martin and Laurie Lenz, and numerous nephews and nieces, all of the greater Chicago area. He is preceded in death by his parents. Everyone who knew john now hopes that he may rest in peace. By his request no funeral or memorial services will be held.
