John R Bustos, Sr.

John Bustos Senior passed away on January 14. He joins his wife Della, his parents, Fernando and San Juana, all his siblings and all of his very good friends. He is lovingly remembered by his four children and their spouses, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. John was born in Owl Canyon on May 13, 1932. He attended Holy Family Catholic School and graduated as a Fort Collins Lambkin, a loyalty he never surrendered. He married Della in 1951 and worked for Ideal Cement Company for 44 years. He enjoyed, played and watched many sports, especially football(Broncos) and baseball(Rockies). He loved black and white cowboy movies, The Three Stooges, and all Warner Brothers cartoons, from which he learned to appreciate classical music. In retirement he played golf, complained about but took care of a yard and garden and provided humor and company at all family occasions, of which there were many, many, many.
