Joel Eulogio Vasquez, 34, died unexpectedly April 23, 2006, at home after medical treatment. He was born March 11, 1972, in Meeker. He is survived by Andrea, his wife of 18 years; daughters, Angela Lu Lu, 16, Autumn Squirrel, 4, Amaya Peanut, 1, and his only son, Dominic Dommo, 13. Other survivors include his parents, John and Maria Monse, of Wellington; his only surviving sister, Marcela Pando and husband, Jesus; brothers, Juan and wife, Diane, of Fort Collins, Abel and wife, Erika, of Windsor and Moses, of Wellington; grandfather, Eulogio Castillo, of Chihuahua, Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his longtime friend and fishing partner, Eric Farrar. Joel was a dedicated husband and father. His children were the light of his life. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and woodworking. May he enjoy these activities eternally. He is preceded in death by grandparents and two infant sisters. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and funeral mass at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church.
