Joann S. Potts, 91, died February 9, 2021. She was born in Sedalia, MO on July 18th, 1929 to Edwin and Edna Schott. She married her high school sweetheart, Joseph Campbell Potts in 1947. He died in 1979.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Oliver, son in law, Kevin Oliver, grandsons Derek (wife Amanda), & Ian (wife Colleen). She was very proud of her great grandchildren, Lyla, Zane, Eli, Josie, Blair, & Reese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Dorothy, and brother Billy.
She moved to Ft. Collins in 1983 and was active in several Mahjong and Bridge Groups. Prior to retirement she worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Mary Kane.
The family would like to thank her neighbors and friends for making the isolation during COVID-19 pandemic less lonely. Also thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan Village for your help and care.
Private graveside service will occur February 22 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements made by Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
Donations may be made in her name to Larimer County Food Bank or Larimer County Humane Society.
