Joan Dyroff

Joan Dyroff, 80, of Austin, Texas formerly of Fort Collins, died August 19, 2011. She was born July 9, 1931 to George and Lydia Specht in Fort Collins, Colorado. Joan lived most of her life in Fort Collins. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses. Joan retired from Woodward Governor in Fort Collins. Survivors include her brothers, Wayne Specht of Fort Collins, Richard Specht of Greeley; nephews, Wayne Specht of Austin, Texas, Michael Specht of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Rick Specht of Greeley, Steve Specht of Steamboat Spring, Colorado; nieces, Deb Hendrickson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Stacey Specht of Fort Collins. Preceding Joan in death are her two brothers, Harley and Robert Specht. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
