Jimmie J. Humes

Jimmie J. Humes, 80, of Fort Collins, died December 21, 2011 at his home. Mr. Humes was born July 14, 1931 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Roy William and Goldie "Gown" Humes. Jimmie married Barbara St. James. She preceded him in death. Mr. Humes was a steelworker by trade. He was a veteran of the Air Force in the Korean War. Survivors include his son, James Joseph Humes; daughters, Teresa Howard, Darlene Douglas; ten grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceding Jimmie in death are his wife, Barbara; his parents, Roy and Goldie; daughter, Debra Humes and brother, Charles J. Humes. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Stieger will officiate the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Jimmie J.
