Jesse Ramirez, 69, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away surrounded by his family, on October 3, 2026. Born in Loveland and raised in Johnstown, Jesse spent his adult life in Fort Collins, where he worked for many years in construction before finishing his career in glass fabrication.

Jesse was quiet by nature, stubborn when he wanted to be, quick with a joke, and was never above throwing a little shade. Beneath it all was a big heart, a strong faith, and a deep love for his family. He was especially proud of his children and held his daughter, Laura, who passed away at a young age, close to his heart throughout his entire life.

He was a devoted Denver Broncos fan, with a collection of Broncos hats and a garage painted proudly in orange and blue. If the Broncos weren’t on TV, there was a good chance Jesse was watching wrestling, searching for an old Western, or jamming out to classic rock.

Some of Jesse’s favorite memories came from simple things: wood working in his younger years, tinkering with cars, cruising the backroads, enjoying a cold beer and reminiscing about growing up on the farm with his family. Although he wasn’t much of a traveler, he treasured his trips to Montana while his son attended college and cherished a family trip to Costa Rica—a trip that became one of the great highlights of his life.

Jesse is survived by his son, Jesse; lifelong love and friend, Christi; his brothers Danny (Shirley), Tommy (Cilvia), and Kenny (Kathy); and his sisters Carolyn and Diane. He was preceded in death by his precious daughter and forever angel, Laura; his parents, Mary and Larry; his brothers Larry and Randy; and his sisters Marilyn and Sylvia.

Jesse will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A private family celebration of Jesus' life will be held at a later date.
