Jesse Joe Guerrero

Jesse Joe (Big Wes) Guerrero was born in Puritain, Colorado to Maria Martinez and Jesse Guerrero, in 1937. He went into the arms of the Lord on June 10th 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Nanette Guerrero; his children: Paul Guerrero, Liz Chavez, Connie Cardenas, Anthony Guerrero, Elaine Guerrero, Jesse (Jr) Guerrero, Robert Guerrero , Jessy Guerrero, Terry Thompson, Barbara Alber, and Susan Rothwell; his brothers: Elmer Guerrero, Lupe Guerrero, and Pete Guerrero; and his sisters: Bea Sanchez, Isobel Martinez, Virginia Serrano, and Ramona Martin.

Jesse loved to discuss politics, football, fishing, and religion. And more than anything he loved telling his stories to his grandchildren by the campfire. Go with God. We miss you.

A rosary will be held on Friday, June 24th at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:30am, the Celebration of Life at 10am. Reception to follow at the American Legion #4 2124 County Rd 54G.
