Jerry D. Kalkman passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at the age of 59. Jerry is predeceased by his parents Adrian and Theresa (Davis) Kalkman.

Jerry is survived by his wife Kim of 27 years. They were married in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 20, 1988. Jerry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kim of Fort Collins, brothers John, Tom, Cris, Robert, and his sister Jeannie (Kalkman) Bockholt, and nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jerry was born in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1956. He graduated from North High School, Class of 1974 and went on to earn a degree in Horticulture from Hawkeye Institute of Technology, in Waterloo, IA. He followed his passion, and was successful in owning and running his own lawn care business for 34 years.

Jerry was an avid CSU football fan, who held season tickets, and absolutely adored his team. He loved fishing, and would never turn down a trip to any lake, or a chance to get outdoors. He was a wonderful cook, with a passion for Prime Rib. His cooking was appreciated by any family member or friend that had the pleasure of partaking in it. He was a loving husband, a fierce friend, and an amazing person.

There will be a Memorial Celebration held on Saturday, November 14th at 3:00 PM at
Bohlender Funeral Chapel
121 W. Olive St.
Fort Collins, CO 80524

Following the memorial service Jerry would like to invite any and all to his Irish Wake at Mo Jeaux's where he loved to meet new people, and relax with close friends. We can celebrate his life, and our memories while watching this season's last CSU home game.
