Jerome "Handsome" Nelson, Jr.

Jerome "Handsome" Gale Nelson, Jr., 2, of Fort Collins, died May 12, 2005, at Children's Hospital in Denver. Handsome was born May 28, 2002, in Milwaukee to Tosha Lynn Gilbert and Jerome Gale Nelson Sr. He and his mother moved to Fort Collins on Oct. 1, 2002, from Milwaukee. Handsome is survived by his parents, Tosha Lynn Gilbert and Jerome Gale Nelson Sr., both of Fort Collins; grandparents, Robin and Larry Smith, of Fort Collins, Gregory Jerome Franklin, of Madison, Wis., and Ethel Nelson, of Milwaukee; great-grandparents, Lorraine Matthews, of Fort Collins, and Willie Lewis Gilbert Sr.; a brother and sister, Lyrikal 5 and Onye 8 Nelson; an aunt and uncle, Crystal and Tyrone Gilbert, both of Fort Collins; favorite cousins, Dustinea Harrison, Trenton Franklin, Timon and Tarvar Gilbert; and numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. The Rev. David Williams will officiate.
