Jennifer Ruiz

Jennifer Marie Ruiz, 17, of Fort Collins, died Dec. 15, 2005, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after a four year battle with cancer. A Rosary will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Douglas Hunt, C.R., will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Jennifer Ruiz was born Sept. 24, 1988, in Fort Collins to David C. and Cindy G. Guzman Ruiz. She was an 11th grade student at Windsor High School. She lived all her life in Fort Collins. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a member of the drama club. Survivors include her father and mother, David C. and Cindy G. Guzman Ruiz, of Fort Collins; a brother, Dallas Ruiz, of Fort Collins; two sisters, Loni Ann Ruiz and Elizabeth Ruiz, both of Fort Collins; grandparents, Dora Ruiz, of Fort Collins, Mrs. Lupe Ruiz, of Greeley, and Joe Guzman, of San Antonio.
