Listen to Obituary
Jeffrey Gordon Pore was born on December 27, 1964 in Kittanning Pa and passed away on February 10, 2023 at Poudre Valley Hospital.
His mom and dad Ed and Lola Pore had 3 children. Dave his brother passed in 2001, his sister Mindy lives in Oregon. He loved his family so much. Jeff also truly loved his cousins, aunt's and uncles. He also loved his nieces, nephews and great niece and nephew.
Jeff and I (Chonda) got married on June 10, 1989, we had 33 years together which is by no means enough time. We welcomed our son Terry Pore on May 20, 2000, he is the image of his dad. Jeff was proud of the young man our son has become. Jeff was one of the hardest working men I have ever known, he always supplied for his family. No words can express the sadness and heart ache Terry and I feel for this loss!
Jeff was an Iron worker and one of the best around, he loved the adventure of being up high on buildings and would often send me pictures of himself high on a beam looking down. It would scare me and he didn't understand how anyone was afraid of heights as it was exhilarating for himself. He became foreman on many of his jobs and enjoyed teaching the new guys the ropes and befriended everyone he worked with. He still kept in contact with people he worked with years ago and always had a kind word for them.
My family loved Jeff so much and he in turn loved them, he was a clown to be around and always hanging out with the kids. So many wonderful memories of him just being himself. Always smiling and there to make things better for anyone.
Jeff loved hunting and fishing with his son and just being outdoors in general. He was an amazing artist and could really do anything he set his mind to. We bought our dream home in Red Feather Lakes, Co in March of 2020. We love the quiet and being surrounded by God's beauty. Jeff was a true man of God and was faithful to the end. The whole time he was so sick and in pain he just kept saying God's got this. He had an unbelievable sense of humor and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone and everyone. He was known for his huge hands and I can say his heart was even bigger. He never held grudges and was always quick to forgive and forget.
Terry and I will love him until the end of time and will never forget the wonderful husband and father he was.
