Jeffrey Lawrence Hicks

Jeffrey Lawrence Hicks, 50, of Fort Collins, died August 6, 2014 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Jeff was born November 9, 1963 in Fort Collins to Darrell and Margie Hicks. Jeff loved to ride the city buses with his nephew, Bradley. All the bus drivers knew him. He worked for the Fort Collins City Trolley and the movie theater. He was a kind, gentle spirit. His smile, platinum blond hair and blue eyes would light up a room. Jeff enjoyed going to Blackhawk to gamble with his mom and dad. Four months ago he got to take a trip of a life time to Las Vegas with his sister, Paula and nephew, Brad. He saw Elton John in concert there and got to go on stage and meet him. His favorite music was by Elton John and Cher. And his favorite TV show was "I Love Lucy". He loved his nieces and nephews Survivors include his sister, Paula Hicks of Pueblo and her children, Bradly Givens, Alissa Garcia Randy and their children, Isaiah, Jordyn, Samari, Randy, Kalieana, and Isaiah; brother, David Sean HicksSandy of Greeley and his children, Stephanie Hicks; aunt, Deanna Hicks of Fort Collins; and special friend, Chris Delaney. Preceding Jeff in death are his grandparents who loved him dearly, Harold and Charlene Hicks; mother and father, Darrell and Margie; nephew, Alan Hicks and his beloved dog, boomer. A Funeral Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
