Jeff Sinnett, 41, of Fort Collins, died Nov. 11, 2006. Jeff was born July 22, 1965, in Elgin, Ill., to Dennis Ford Sinnett and Katie Talley Capps. He moved with his family in 1969 from Elgin to Fort Collins. He was a state champion wrestler in 1985 and a graduate of Fort Collins High School. He also attended Western State College. Jeff was a construction superintendent with Sinnett Builders, Inc. Jeff married Michelle Young in 1993 in Allenspark. Jeff was an adventurer, outdoorsman, and mountaineer, who enjoyed rock climbing, hunting, and fly fishing. He was also an expert carpenter and woodcraftsman. He was lovingly referred to as GÇ£McGuyverGÇ¥ for his unique abilities to fix anything. He was known for his humorous and insightful quotes. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Dennis and Rosalie Sinnett of Fort Collins; mother and stepfather, Katie and Dr. Stephen Capps of Franklin, Tenn.; two sons, Taylor and his wife, Christine, and Chase Ritchie both of Fort Collins; and three brothers, Daniel, John, Russell Sinnett, all of Fort Collins. A funeral will be held at First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover, on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Pastors Jeff Wright and Joel Kershaw will officiate at the service. Those who desire may view Jeff from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the CSU Trial Garden and Gazebo Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
