Jeanne Tolman

Jeanne W. Tolman, 87, passed away at Barlow Assisted Living on June 20, 2007. Jeanne M. Wilhelm was born April 13, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., to W. W. Wilhelm and Eleanor G.B. Wilhelm. She grew up and attended schools in Chicago and later moved to Missouri and graduated from Missouri State Teacher's College. She taught school in Balta County for 37 years. Jeanne was an avid traveler, with her "claim to fame" having traveled to all 50 states and a "bit" of Canada and Mexico She leaves one daughter, Vicki Downey of Wellington; and one son, Charles Tolman of Orlando, Fla. She has six beautiful grandchildren, four girls, Tiffany, Brittany, Lauren and Sara; and two boys, Mike and Tyler. She was a much-loved mother and grandmother. No service will be held at this time, but a memorial service will be held in Monkton, Md., in August.
