Jean Olesen, 85, passed away on January 19, 2017 in Windsor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Loveland with the Pastor Steve Goodier of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
Jean was born in Tyrone, PA to Eugene and Elizabeth Hollobaugh on October 10, 1931. She went to school in Altoona, PA. She attended State College in State College, PA. Jean's children and family were the love of her life. She had a passion for cooking for family and friends and was the best. Jean enjoyed crafting and creating. Cake baking for many weddings and birthdays. She worked as a beautician owning her own salon. She was an avid bowler and Secretary of the Colorado women's state bowling association.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband John; parents, sister, Mae; granddaughters, Jessica and Samantha; grandson, Mitchell and stepson, Craig.
Jean is survived by her children, Alton (Rose) of Loveland, CO, Eugene (Cathy) of Longmont, CO, Ginny (Terry) of Platteville, CO Cheri (Jeff) of Lingle, WY, and Diane (Keith) of Ft. Collins, CO; two stepsons, John and Randy; sister, Lois and brother, Charles; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Memorials may be given to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.
