Jean Paulette Bethke Elshtain went to Jesus August 11, 2013, joining grandparents Paul and Alvina, William and Mary Grandma and Grandpa in the Country, parents Paul and Helen, aunts Martha, Mary, Linda, Karla, and Ann, uncles Bill, Bob, Paul, August, and Orrin. Beloved wife of Errol, loving mother of Sheri, Heidi Marty, Jenny Steve, Eric Irene and Bobby; doting grandmother of JoAnn, Bobby, Christopher and Christie; devoted sister to Pat, Bonnie, Bill and Rick, and niece of Ted Lind and Cora Bethke. Jean, regularly named as one of America's foremost public intellectuals, will go home to Colorado, services to be held at Blessed John XXIII University Center in Fort Collins on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 18th from 2-4 pm at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
