Jason David Mauk of Wellington, Colorado, born on December 30, 1972 in Laramie, Wyoming, and died on June 25, 2017 in Custer, South Dakota while on vacation to Bear Country with his family. His cause of death was from a Mesothelioma Cancer (Asbestos) that he had been battling for over a year.
His parents are Regie and Nancy Mauk of Laramie, Wyoming. He attended Laramie High School and his sister is Sandy Gray. He married Tary Rae Novacek in Cheyenne, Wyoming on May 14, 2005. He worked at Lew Broyles and Son for 14 years for his Uncle Mike in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Some of his hobbies include shooting at the range, spending time with his family and remote-control cars.
Survived by his wife, Tary; his children: Elizabeth, Colton, and Grace; parents, Regie and Nancy Mauk; sister; Sandy Gray (AJ); in-laws, Gary and Judy Novacek, Kary Kollar (Mark), Bary Novacek (Jackie); two nieces and three nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7755 Greenstone Trail, Fort Collins at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 with Pastor Tim Runtsch. The reception will follow the service at the church. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins.
