Listen to Obituary
Jason Robert Fitchett was born September 14th, 1984 in Anchorage, Alaska and passed away June 4th, 2026.

He came into this life surrounded by the love of his parents, Kevin and Rosemary Fitchett. Three years later, he was overjoyed to become a big brother to Bryan Fitchett. This tight knit family enjoyed spending quality time together, playing soccer, participating in Boy Scouts, going on family vacations, and playing board games together.

Jason graduated from Bartlett High School and went on to earn his degree in Construction Management. He married Jessica Fitchett and together they had two beautiful children, Jackson (12) and Aly (9). Jason’s work took his family across the United States, eventually settling in Colorado, a state they all loved. Jason enjoyed hiking, the Seattle Seahawks, snowboarding, paddleboarding, and everything outdoors that Colorado had to offer, but he still traveled back up to Alaska to fish the Russian River during the salmon run. He loved to fish and truly had a knack for it. When no one else was catching fish, Jason always had a “fish on”.

Jason was loved by so many in his life and throughout his community. He held his lifelong friendships close at heart and easily made new friends with his charismatic personality. The true loves of Jason’s life were his children. He talked about them to anyone and everyone who would listen. He was incredibly proud of them and made unforgettable memories they will cherish forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to share a memory of Jason below for them to enjoy reading. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Anchorage, Alaska. Our hearts go out to anyone who knew Jason and is on this grieving journey with us.
