Heaven gained a beautiful soul as Janet Schroeder lost her battle to cancer and was lifted into everlasting peace with the Lord on Thursday March 15, 2018. Janet Yvonne Schroeder was born on April 1, 1941 in Millarton, ND on her family's farm. Janet met the love of her life, Ronald Dayton Schroeder at the soda fountain in White Drug's in Jamestown, ND and they married 6 months later in 1961. They moved from the family farm to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1975. Janet worked tirelessly with Ron running several successful family businesses while raising four children. They lived a long, wonderful, happy life together for 40 years until Ron proceeded her in heaven in 2001. Jan was very active at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Collins where she was a Deacon and enjoyed bible study there along with many other activities. Of all of Jan's accomplishments, Jan was most proud of her children and ten grandchildren and found her joy in spending time with all of them. Jan lived life to the fullest every day, loved the Lord and above all loved spending time with her family and friends. Jan was proceeded in death by her parents, Harry and Ella Ebele and a grandson, Christopher Schroeder. She is survived by her two brothers, Harry and Bill Ebele and her sister, Larene Ebele, her four children, Robert Schroeder, wife, Debbie and their three children; Lexi, Jay, and Lauren; Michael Schroeder, wife, Kadi and their two children, Dayton and Easton; Jake Schroeder, wife, Jacqueline and their two children, Jessica and Blake; Melissa Brannen, husband, Jay and their two children, Jared and Luke. A Celebration of Life will take place on April 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church with lunch to follow. Flowers for the service or donations to pathways hospice are welcome.
