Janet Lois Grudzinski

Janet Lois Grudzinski, née Stephens, born February 24, 1936, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025. She had been battling with emphysema while still maintaining her kindness, grace, compassion, and love of family and friends. At the time she passed away, she was surrounded by close family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by a daughter, husband, sister, two brothers and her parents. She is survived by four sons, two daughters, numerous nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Her internment is scheduled for June 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Black Hills National Cemetery. Please be 15 minutes early and go to Staging Lane 1 for a brief gathering in the Committal Shelter. Gravesite viewing is after 4:30 p.m. on the same day.

Visiting hours to the Black Hill National Cemetery grounds are sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
