Janet H. Bateman

Janet Bateman, 93, passed away January 22, 2011. She was born in Ironton, Ohio in 1917. She married George ?Bud? Bateman in 1940. She was preceded by Bud and her parents, Oscar & Alvira Henninger. Janet and Bud lived in Lawrenceburg, Indiana until 1976 when they moved to Fort Collins to be near their grandchildren. Janet was an avid tennis and bridge player and appreciated many dear friends from both activities. She is survived by her son, Ron, & his wife, Marty. She had 6 grandchildren: Ted Felecia from Chapel Hill, NC; Wendy Tim Holm from Shrewsbury, MA; Michelle Dave Perovich from Castle Rock, CO; Michael from Ft. Collins; Katie from Waco, TX; and Christy from Seattle, WA. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren: Jenna & Britton Bateman; Camden, Braden, & Ashton Holm; and Avarie & Joey Perovich. In addition, she is survived by 2 nieces: Georgianne Robert Wright of Bloomington, IL and Nancy Krause of Springfield, IL. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
