Jane Stanyon
On December 19, 2022 our beloved Mom passed on. Jane Frances Stanyon was born May 18, 1933 on Staten Island, NY to Clarice Greene-Stanyon and Earl R. Stanyon. She grew up in Wyckoff, NJ, attended Syracuse University, receiving a B.S. degree in 1955. On December 23, 1956 she married Ernest C. Frank, and in 1959 they moved to Fort Collins, CO. Jane worked for 27 years as a Library Technician at Colorado State University Libraries, retiring in 2001 from full and part-time work. She took classes at both CSU and Front Range Community College. She enjoyed gardening, painting, traveling, reading and cross-words, cats and bicycling. She was active in Senior Center and Aspen Club activities in her later years.
She is survived by sons Carl L. Frank and Brian D. Frank of Fort Collins, and by son Paul C. Frank and his wife Deb of Loveland. She has two Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild. She is also survived by one brother, Robert Stanyon of Hackensack, NJ.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on January 4, 2023 at 2pm. In lieu of memorial contributions, please donate to The Nature Conservancy, or favorite charity.
