Jane Ann Bucknot, 70, who was our loving mom and grandma of Loveland, Colorado, departed to heaven on August 21, 2022, from natural causes.
She was born to parents Henry and Helen Bucknot, September 27th, 1951 in Euclid, Ohio. Jane attended St. John Lutheran School and graduated from Euclid High School in 1969.
She lived in Northeast Ohio until 1982 when she moved to Colorado with her son to start a new life. Jane is survived by her only child and his wife Mathew (51) and Kim (52) Tarka of Greeley, CO. She is also survived by her three grandchildren that she prayed for daily: Michaela (Max) Miller (23) of Columbus, OH, Meagan Tarka (22) of Tulsa, OK, and Caleb Tarka (19) of Windsor, CO. Jane was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Helen Bucknot, and her sister Bonnie Schaub.
Raised at Shore Haven Lutheran church in Euclid, Jane loved Jesus, and spent her entire life sharing with others the good news of Christ her Savior. She was a self-taught guitarist, singer, traveler, and an avid writer. College was not for her, but learning was and had the blessing to raise her son as her priority. After she moved to Colorado, she became a Certified Nurse's Aide and Home Health Aide. Jane served in her church, as well as attended multiple Bible and ministry schools and graduated with multiple Certificates of Completion. She was an ordained minister, and founded Wings of Eagle Ministry, which she touched hundreds of people full time for decades. She always had a gift to give to everyone she met.
Jane's celebration of life and memorial will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Southgate Church in Fort Collins, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations to one of her favorite charities in her name can be made to Father Flanagan's Boys Home or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
