Jamie Kaye Newman-Buhr, a wonderful mother and a very adventurous spirit, unexpectedly passed away February 24th, 2022, at the age of 54.
Survived by her father, James Robert Newman; her fiancée, Martin Juarez; her eldest daughter, Sierra Buhr; her son, Christian Buhr; her youngest daughter, Julianna Newman-Buhr; her grandson, Keygan Newman; her granddaughter, Annie Marie Newman-Buhr; her uncle, John Newman; and by her aunts, Rebecca Newman, Judy Newman, Rose Rich Elrod, and Sue Rich Collins. Preceded in death by her mother, Betty Karen Newman and her brother, Kenneth Dean Newman.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 22nd, 1969, to James Newman and Karen Newman. Growing up, she lived a very exciting life playing with her aunts and family. She graduated high school from Bishop Kelly High School in Tulsa and went to Summit Beauty College, Woodland Park, Colorado. She was a talented woman, earning her first car at 16 years old on her own and continued to work hard for her family. She was a serious artist that loved music and the outdoors, who lived life to the fullest while working hard to succeed in life.
She became a mother for three children, showing lots of compassion and kindness to her family. She had remarkable love for her family, always doing what she could to make them laugh and smile. She went on many adventures with her family, took them on hiking trips, visited haunted hotels, went to theme parks and continued her adventures with her family by her side. She was admired for her wonderful singing by her family and for always being the light of her family's world no matter what happened.
A funeral service in memory of Jamie Kaye Newman-Buhr will be scheduled 2:00 pm on March 4th, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fort Collins CO.
