Jim worked many years as a grocery attendant for different grocers in Fort Collins. For the old-timers in Fort Collins, you may remember Jim from Albertson's or King Soopers. He loved his customers! He enjoyed pushing the cart to your car and treasured the parking lot conversations with you. He found satisfaction in his work by walking you to a product you were looking for and was happy to recommend his favorite brands. He delighted in asking the produce department to order new and specialty produce for you.
The "Jim" We Knew:
• Jim loved "The Lord"
• Loved music: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Mannheim Steamroller and music trivia
• Had a sense of humor, enjoyed jokes and laughter, his favorite character was Charlie Brown and the
Peanuts Gang
• Had a natural way of saying meaningful thoughts
• In earlier years, he designed and drew greeting cards for the family
• Saw the best in people
• "Mom and Dad were always the best parents; Mother and I made the best team."
Survived by his mother, Helen Magee, sisters, nephews, nieces and great nephew and niece(s)
