James J. Ahlbrandt (Jim) passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Jim was born on September 6, 1958 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Harry and Arlene (née Briggs) Ahlbrandt.
Jim grew up in Fort Collins with his two brothers, Jerry and Joseph, and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1977. He attended Aims Community College in Greeley and graduated with his Associate's Degree in Horticulture. Throughout his life, Jim held many jobs working for Marathon Steel, Valley Steel, Poudre School District, and Fairmont Gardens.
On June 17, 1983, Jim married Norine Storer. Although they later divorced, Jim was blessed with two children, James Carl (JC), and Chelsea Marie. He was a grandfather to Jordin, Serenity, Peyton, and Charlie.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Ahlbrandt and his mother, Arlene Ahlbrandt. Jim is survived by his father, Harry Ahlbrandt; brother, Joseph (Michelle) Ahlbrandt; children, JC (Sierra) Ahlbrandt and Chelsea Ahlbrandt; and his four grandchildren.
His life will be remembered at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel Interment will be at a family plot at Grandview Cemetery.
