Peace like a river attendeth my soul... On February 20, 2010 Jacqueline Lee Pierce-Koob made her journey home. Jackie was sixty years old and a resident of Fort Collins Health Care Center. She passed away at Poudre Valley Hospital, after a rapid onset of complications. Jackie was born to Carl David Pierce and Bethel Gale Starr-Pierce on May 14, 1949. She is survived in love by her daughter, Kristina Lynn Koob-Freeman of El Paso, Texas and her son, Jon Michael Koob of Obion, Tennessee. She has five grandchildren. In that love, she is also survived by her sisters, Donna Gale Klikus, Susan Margaret Morgan, and Bethel Lynn Pierce. Jackie was, to many others, a friend. She worked as a bank teller, motor vehicle clerk, and in property management. She was a long time member of First Church of God. God worked through her hands to create beautiful needlework pieces. Her places of joy were with family, gardens, and in the company of birds. Born in Wisconsin, her life then took her to Tennessee, Colorado, New York, and Idaho. Her sweet nature and kindness will be missed by many. Viewing will be held Wednesday, 12:00-7:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mariah's Kids at Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, 4745 Wheaton Drive Suite 100, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525. Please put "Mariah's Kids" in the notation of your check. In spirit, our unspoken words are heard - In love, we are forever connected - In faith, a journey begins - Rejoice.
