Jack Curtis Wyman, 73, passed away on September 8, 2016. He was born on April 1, 1943, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Curtis and Edythe Wyman. The family moved to Eureka, Kansas, when he was three. Jack met his wife, Pamela, when he was 17 and she was 14, while swimming in a river. They married in 1964 in Wichita, Kansas, where Jack attended WSU. Jack and Pamela moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 1969, where he continued his studies in industrial arts education at CSU.
Jack loved being with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. Traveling to Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and many states was special for Jack. He loved his dogs and was always sneaking them treats.
Jack is survived by Pamela, his wife of 52 years: two children, Michelle Bilotta (husband, Joe) and Michael Wyman (wife, Kate); four grandchildren, Christopher, Brendan, Cameron, and Emmylou; and a sister, Diann Wyman.
There will be a Celebration of Life and an Open House on September 24, from 6-8p.m., at the Fort Collins Senior Center. A short blessing and remembrances will be held at 7:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
