Jack Wares passed away November 5, 2021 at MCR. Born Jack Dean Wares on July 19, 1949.
He graduated from Poudre High School in 1968 where he met and then married Cindy Behrends on October 25, 1969. They just celebrated their 52nd Anniversary.
Jack was in the Navy and then started selling cars for 36 year. Then he opened Spit N Shine Automotive Detail which he retired from in March 2021.
In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, tying flies, fishing and he especially liked taking his dearest friend, Joe Curby, to Cheyenne to gamble, spending time with many friends and especially his grandkids.
Jack is survived by his wife Cindy and his children, Tammy (Josh) Kuhlman of Ault, CO, Becky (Clint) Brautigam of Fort Collins, Jeni Wares (Matt Valdez) of Fort Collins and Jason (Megan) Wares of Ault, CO. He left behind his three sisters, Jackie of Florida, Karen (Dave) Evans of Windsor, and Sharon (Roger) Schmidt of Fort Collins, and his brother Bill Thompson of Greeley, CO. Also 14 grandkids, a large number of nieces and nephews, and many adopted kids and grandkids.
He will be missed greatly.

An Open House celebration of his life will be held on November 21, 2021 from 1 - 4 pm at the American Legion, 2124 CR 54G, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Please feel free to bring stories and memories to share.
