Jack N. Dedrick was born to Grace Morrison Dedrick and Guy Dedrick in Fort Collins, Colorado on April 9, 1936. He passed away March 22, 2011. He was almost 75 years old. He died from complications from a fall. Jack grew up in Fort Collins and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1955 and met his High School sweetheart, Janice Uhrich. He married Janice at the old Baptist Church on June 22, 1958. He then proceeded to get his college education at Colorado State University. He graduated from college, went to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and his wife had a baby girl, all in year of 1962. He worked for Goodyear as a Manager and District Sales Manager for 35 years. He was always a valuable employee where he received many awards for his excellence and dedication to the company. Before he started working for Good year, he served in the Army in Korea, where once again he was recognized for best academic achievement and physical training during boot camp. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his daughter, Karyl; her husband, Brian Zinanti; and their two children, McKayla and Grayson Zinanti. In addition he is survived by his older brother, Maynard his wife, Betty Dedrick of Winsor, Jack's sister, Anabel Reese of Tucson, sisters in law, Marlene her husband, John Nortier, and Deloris Kling. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Dedrick; brothers in law, C.E. Bud Reese and Richard Kling. Family and friends meant the world to Jack and he always enjoyed their company and cherished the love and the devotion to one another. Jack had a wry sense of humor that others thoroughly treasured. He was a member of the Elks Club, played golf, and bested all with his talent of fishing on the Poudre River. This was his favorite spot and where his ashes will be distributed with family and friends gathered later this year. At this time a service will not be held but condolences may be sent to his wife, Janice at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com. Most of all, he had a deep faith in God, and although we will miss him dearly here on earth we know he will be serving as a guardian angel too look after us up in heaven. Through his journey he was a wonderful husband, father, family man, friend and provider for all.
