Dr. Ivan F. Wymore, 82, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2011. Ivan was born on April 18th, 1929 in Craig, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick J. Wymore & Florence A. Knight Wymore and his loving wives, Opal Wymore and Melva Jean Wymore. He is survived by his brother Wayne Wymore, Sister-in-law Pat Wymore of Craig, CO; sister, Lois Hayes of Albuquerque, NM; his children, Jane Larry Pitoniak of Loveland, CO, Diane Bill Dale of Parker, CO, Tim Lisa Wiebelhaus of Parker, CO; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ivan, most recently residing at The Wexford in Loveland, CO., spent his childhood working on the family ranch in Craig, CO where his brother still resides today. Ivan served his country in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He attended Colorado State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture in 1955. He went on to receive his Masters in Economics in 1958 and his Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 1974. Ivan worked as a Watershed Management Consultant & traveled / worked all over the world including places like Thailand, The Philippines and Argentina. In his early retirement, he enjoyed an extended Thanksgiving Holiday every year with Jean & his family in Mazatlan, Mexico, where many precious memories were made. Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins, CO. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins. Following the service, friends and family will gather at his home at The Wexford in Loveland, CO at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Ivan's name in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
