Isabelle M. Jamison, 83, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Isabelle was born August 4th 1931 in Elizabeth, N.J. to Walter and Kate Brodie. She was the youngest of three. In 1946 the Brodie family moved to Point Pleasant, N.J. Isabelle attended school in Point Pleasant and in 1949 married William Jamison and started their new family.
In 1969 Isabelle and her family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. In Colorado, Isabelle fulfilled a passion to help the Native Americans by gathering and making clothes for the reservations. If she could not gather enough she would resort to knitting gloves, hats, scarfs, and slipper booties. In the early 1970's she moved her parents to Fort Collins where she cared for them until their passing.
Isabelle had many passions including family, friends, and animals. She raised horses, rescued Jack Russell Terriers, along with many orphaned farm animals. Her love for family and friends was unsurpassed, many times we would watch her go without to help a friend or family members.
Her sense of humor and smile was contagious. She made everyone smile and laugh. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, 1 brother, and her husband. Survivors include her daughter Isabelle Stewart, son Jeff Jamison, 6 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be a "Celebration of Life", a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, May 27th, at 11am. Please join us for stories and remembrance at 90 Summit View Rd., Severance, CO.
