Irma Irene Maybon of Fort Collins, Colorado, age 93, passed away on April 1, 2011. Irma was born on November 29, 1917 in Beaver City, Nebraska to Clay and
Rua Young. She married Orville W. Maybon on July 20, 1936. In 1940 they moved from Nebraska to Wellington, Colorado. In 1958 they moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. Irma worked at State Dry Goods Company and Woodward Governor. She retired in 1970 and enjoyed traveling with Orville around the U.S. in RVs. In addition, Irma loved to paint china, sew, crochet, knit and make porcelain dolls. She is survived by her husband, Orville; three children, Twyla Stanley Hoffner, Phoenix, Arizona; Larry Maybon, Phoenix, Arizona; and Dennis Diane, Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Mildred Lane. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn, two brothers, Lee and Floyd Young, one sister, Elizabeth Rennecker, and her parents. She is survived by 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Grandview Cemetery. Rev. Robert Geller will officiate at the service. Those who desire may view Mrs. Maybon, Monday, 12-4 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
