Inez F. Murr, age 92, Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2019, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Walter B. Murr, Jr. She was a homemaker who raised six children. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary # 4 the George Beach Chapter in Ft. Collins, a life member of VFW Post #1781Auxiliary in Ft. Collins and the Greeneville Moose Lodge #692.
She is survived by her six children; 4 daughters Sabra Luscher, Susan (Paul) Neiman, Sharon (Eldon) Bigham, all of Ft. Collins, Sandra (Jim) Kerr, of Sheridan WY; 2 sons, Paul (Anne) Murr of Eaton, CO and Walter (Kathy) Murr of Kissimmee, FL; 1 sister, Carolyn Joyce Jiron; 12 grandchildren;, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held at noon, Monday, September 16, 2019 at the American Legion Post # 4 the George Beach Chapter at 2124 County Road 54G, Laporte, CO.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice ( https://pathways-care.org/ ) Fort Collins, CO; High Plains Honor Flight, ( www.highplainshonorflight.org or mail donation to PO Box 363, Ault, CO 80610) or the charity of your choice.
