Howard D. Akers

Howard D. "Jack" Akers, 84, of Hayden, Idaho passed away December 3, 2009, at his winter home in Surprise, Arizona after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his two children, Loma Megilligan Jerry and Larry Akers Kathy; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn. Jack was a WWII veteran and served in the Army. Jack lived in Fort Collins 40 years until he moved to Idaho. He retired from Ideal Cement Company. There will be a private family service at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will be at Grandview Cemetery Contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
