Henry Perez

Henry P. Perez, 73, of Fort Collins, died Nov. 7, 2007, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Perez was born May 17, 1934, in Fort Morgan, to Nick Perez and Rafila Antones Perez Henry married Helene W. Dyer on Nov. 23, 1991, in Fort Collins. Mr. Perez moved 20 years ago to Fort Collins from Fort Morgan. He was a foreman at the sugar beet factory in Fort Morgan and was also a handyman. He enjoyed playing guitar, gardening and volunteering at nursing homes. Survivors include his daughters, Kim Tolgert and her husband David, and Karen Perez; three stepdaughters, Cheryl Wiegand, Gay St. Claire, and Jill Jones; brothers, Glenn and Manul Perez both of Fort Morgan; sisters, Jenny Rodregues of Fort Morgan and Marjie Neave of Santos, San Migail; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Preceding Henry in death are his parents; an infant sister; a brother, David Perez; and his wife, Helene Perez. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Spring Creek Health Care Center.
