Henrietta "Etta" Pearl Siegfried, 100, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died October 26, 2023 at Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility in Fort Collins. She was born September 4, 1923 in Windsor, Colorado to Henry and Annie Propp and was raised on a farm in the Windsor community. She attended Windsor schools through the eighth grade. She and her sister, Helen and her brother Bob, obtained their GEDs in 1962.

Henrietta married Reinhold "Rheiny" Siegfried in Cheyenne, Wyoming on February 3, 1940. She was a homemaker while living on a farm near Timnath, Colorado. In 1956, she was hired as the secretary of the superintendent at Timnath School (grades one through twelve). In 1973, she was hired as secretary at Boltz Junior High until her retirement in 1985.

Henrietta was a charter member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor, Colorado. She was a master crocheter as well as a maker of many, many beautiful hand quilted quilts. She and her sister, Edna, made home made fresh noodles, butter balls, and angel food cakes for the ladies group at Bethel Lutheran Church which were sold at the annual Harvest Festival for over 25 years.

Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family. She is survived by her son, Larry & his wife Linda, of Fort Collins, 2 daughters, Karen Ehrlich of Johnstown, and Beverly Torrez and her husband Larry of Greeley. She was also the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and 2 great-great granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Weitzel of Greeley, Colorado.

Henrietta is preceded in death of her husband, Rheiny, her parents, four brothers, two sisters and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 328 Walnut Street, Windsor, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
