Helen Vivian Peterson Danielson, 93, of Fort Collins died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 24th 2013. She was born in Ault March 6th, 1920, graduated from Ault High school and the University of Northern Colorado. Helen met Dale Peterson while she was teaching at District 35 School, then she worked in Greeley at the courthouse in the treasury office. Dale and Helen married February 22nd, 1949. Shortly after marriage, they began farming in Ault, then moved to East Fort Collins in 1952, had three sons and continued farming and ranching, raising beef cattle. Helen was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ault for 80 years, a member of Swedish Heritage Society of Northern Colorado, and the Sewing Club in Greeley, Above all else, Helen loved her family. Helen will be remembered as a kind, gentle woman of God. She was a wonderful home maker, considerate of everybody, and a never forgot a birthday. She will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death are her parents, Wendla and Henry, two brothers, Walter and Ray, and a grandson, Matthew Peterson. Helen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dale, 3 sons Larry Anne, Dan Robin, and Lynn Jackie, along with 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, 11 a.m., at First Lutheran Church, 402 Graefe Ave, Ault, Colorado. Contributions in Helen's memory may be made to First Lutheran Church of Ault, P.O.
