Helen M. Brautigam passed away June 30, 2017 at McKee Hospital in Loveland, Colorado. She was born August 28, 1924 in Fort Collins, CO. She lived most of her life in Fort Collins before moving to Loveland in 1995. Helen married her husband, George in Lakewood, CO on February 15, 1944; George preceded her in death in 2008 after 64 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Gay Dees of Fort Collins, brothers, Paul of Fort Collins, Clifford of Springfield, MO and sister, June of Dumfries, VA. She is survived by her son Wayne and his wife Myrna of Cheyenne, WY. Grandsons Clint and his wife Becky of Fort Collins, and Clay of Cheyenne, great grandchildren, Vince and Harlie of Fort Collins and many nieces and nephews. Helen worked for Montgomery Ward, Pat Griffin Company and retired from Colorado State University Lory Student Center Director' s Office in 1984 after 21 years of service. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Zeta Chi Chapter for over 70 years which was a big part of her life holding many officer positions. Helen enjoyed life, friends, and family gatherings. Funeral services will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins on July 7th at 2:00 PM.
