Helen Beaugh

Helen G. Beaugh, 80, of Fort Collins, died Jan. 18, 2008, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Beaugh was born April 15, 1927, in Cheyenne County, Kan., to James Franklin Cheney and Grace Adeline Egly Cheney. Mrs. Beaugh had lived in Fort Collins since she was 3 years old. Helen graduated from Waverly High School in the class of 1946 as one of four students. On Sept. 1, 1950, she graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Denver as a registered nurse. Helen married John R. Beaugh on April 8, 1954, in Fort Collins. Survivors include her son, Jeff Beaugh, and wife, Debbie of Fort Collins; a brother, Eldon Cheney, and wife, Jeannie, of Missouri; and a sister, Charlotte Thompson of Arkansas. Preceding Helen in death are her parents, husband, three brothers and four sisters. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Deacon Warren Lybarger will officiate.
