Hazel Hendricks Raushenberger,98, of Fort Collins died October 5, 2015. Hazel was born January 17, 1917 near Danvers, Illinois. Daughter of Charles T. and Maude Plank Hendricks. Married Evert Raushenberger on November 24, 1935. They resided in Iowa most of their married lives. She moved to Ft. Collins, in September 2006.
Hazel worked as a secretary and a bookkeeper, retiring in 1978, a longtime member of the Winfield Open Bible Church, serving as organist of over 40 years.
She is survived by a son, David Raushenberger of Tennessee and two daughters, Leahrose Gowing of Fort Collins, and Suszanne (Randy) Wiley of Valdosta, Georgia; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 1 sister, Beulah Trainer of Hopedale, Illinois and a number of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one sister, and a special grandson, Matthew McElhinney.
A Memorial Service will be held November 22, 2015 at the Open Bible Church in Winfield, Iowa.
